We took a spontaneous trip to Tahoe over Spring Break to show Mabel the snow, which she had never seen before, and with which she was utterly delighted. I'm pretty sure we caught the very last weekend of good sledding and (tiny) snowman building and snow angel making and snowball throwing, as the big thaw seemed extremely imminent. Getting away somewhere as a family is, i'm realizing, just such a great self-care thing these days.
